Section 6.6 Thermochemical Equations
Relate the enthalpy change of a reaction to the mole ratios of reactants and products.
Thermochemical equations can be manipulated.
  1. If the equation's molar coefficients are multiplied or divided by a factor, the value of enthalpy is also multiplied or divided by the same factor.
  2. If the thermochemical equation is written in the opposite direction, the sign (+ or -) of the enthalpy change is reversed.
